Grounding kits

I I've been thinking about getting a grounding kit, but have some questions I couldn't find answers to about grounding kits.

So I have a manual transmission, would I benefit from a grounding kit & how?

When I plug in my phone to the car charger, the radio gets staticky, would a grounding kit help with that? I also have a radar detector pulling from the battery.

How many wires should be on the kit. From research I've done, looks like I should probably get 8 cables or really whatever comes in the kit.

Who makes a good kit. Trying to keep costs down but would rather buy than build unless someone can tell me very specifically where to but the copper wire, wrap, fittings, lengths & can explain where to mount the cords. Or, what to search for I suppose an electrical store would have the supplies.

I'm thinking about the NRG kit, but not sure & hoping for some help.

Thank you very much guys!! As always I appreciate your help

If you'd like to try it, I've got one I made just as a proof of concept. It doesn't have any sheathing, but the wiring is good, the terminals are good, and it's the correct length.

Interested?

I am interested...it should have sheathing though right? Can I put the sheathing on?

&, unfortunately I'm not as smart as I look, what do you mean by you have it for proof of concept? You do have one on your car correct?

I think I have asked you before what it would help since I have a manual, I know one thing is throttle response, would it help with when I charge my phone it gets staticky? Throttle response is awesome!! But I hate when I need to charge my phone & I can't listen to the radio

Thank you

I can't say for sure that it'll fix it. A grounding kit ostensibly smooths out spikes in the voltage from your battery. So, if unbalanced draw from the voltage is causing that, then it might fix it. Throttle response will likely improve, maybe not measurably, but theoretically.

When I say "sheathing", I mean this:

Flexo PET Expandable Sleeving at WireCare.com

The wires are perfectly fine without it, I added the flexo sleeve to protect against abrasion and to add some color.
