2013 G37 Sedan ME Spec Audio Upgrade

i just registered on this website and pardon me if this is a question that has been repeatedly asked before. I have been driving my G37 for 15 months now and I am a huge fan of this car. I am not much of a petrol head but I love my G. It is a great value for money car, can easily give the higher priced cars a run for their money.

I am looking to upgrade my audio slightly and I was hoping to get some advice. Time and again, I have felt that my stock Bose system is underpowered. The volume does not seem to be too high, in fact, my previous Altima sounded a lot louder than the G37. So I was thinking if it is advisable to add a 4 channel amplifier for the speakers and get a subwoofer for the bass. I am disappointed with the bass in the door speakers, they could definitely be better in terms of the boom.

I am willing to spend up to $1k on this, so please advise if I can do the upgrade that I have in mind and what kind I should go for.

I'm pretty sure it has been asked before, but i dont think there is an easy solution. You'd probably get better advice over in the audio and video forums:
