sounds like battery

If your interior lite dims that sounds like a battery. while you're at it switch to LED interior lights. What is a grounding kit and why is it suggested on the car? That sounds a little over the top for any car; seems like grounding should not be happening on any modern day car...

I've noticed the flicker as well when the "slip" light comes on. It's not always, but I can see when it does happen with the reflection from the snow banks.

My G has the grounding kit, so it wont help in this situation. New battery too, so its probably part of a design flaw that the traction control draws too much current load that cuts out the ballasts in the HID's for a few milliseconds

break out the manufacturer etm or alldata

there may be a common ground shared in both the headlamp circuit and abs/tcs module circuit. sounds like when abs/tcs gets activated it may be pulling a higher load on the shared ground circuit causing higher resistance. you can verify this with the etm or sometimes alldata may also have the schematic. you can also try this for ****s and giggles if you don't have access to proper schematic manual. find the ground harness that feeds the abs/tcs module, remove the bolt or nut that holds the ground, clean off the painted surface with emery cloth, install a star type crush washer, and reattach the ground wire and bolt it back down. the star crush washer will make a better ground contact when it bites into unpainted metal. good luck.
