Galaxy Note to monitor display

Galaxy Note to monitor display
So this guy figured out how to export his display from the Galaxy note to the the in dash car display. Using the Sam Sung media hub. Also the guy did no help on explaining how he did such thing.
1. How did he convert the signal from the media hub from HDMI to RCA (using a converter? or the media hub did it itself?)
2. How did he connect it to the display. I have the 2012 G37x with the usb port and not the RCA and the Navi system.
3. That being said. Would I use the review camera input? If so how will sound come thru?
4. Or is there an aux input that I did not see in the back of the unit?
5. Does anyone have the wire schematic for this unit...maybe I can figure this out myself.
I was really blown away by the video and I give the guy major props for figuring this out. Just wish he was a little more forthcoming on the details on how he did it. This really is the next project I want to do. If I can get everyones help on this. I will do a step by step. No point of holding information on a kick *** project like this.

I used the samsung media hub convert the hdmi to rca...."
he doesn't really explain at all how its set up.
I could see this being worth it for people who dont have navi
using it for videos while driving is a terrible idea. You say you wont look but you do.

My car has the RCA connectors so getting the video to the screen wasn't too complicated.
Do you guys have a TV tuner in your USDM vehicles? The JDM's have a tuner next to the spare tire which could possibly be hacked into.

Have to do the ground wire mod, so you can use the video feed from the RCA inputs in the center console. Once you do that, buy these two things and run them using the USB power with either a splitter, or one in the cig lighter.
Need an android phone I think.
Wouldn't be too difficult.

Wouldn't be too difficult.
