On my 08 coupe it depends on what screen you had up when you last used the car. If you turned the car off with the "status" screen up (ie shows what music you are playing and the climate control information) you will not have to see the warning screen. But if you were using the navigation when you turned the car off and never cancelled out of the map you will have the warning. Also if you were on one of the screens for CD's or ripped music you will not have the warning.

this is true, however if you go to navigation you will be prompted to press okay.
i have 2012 g37x sport and I also dont have to push ok...screen will automatically pop up...but i do have to switch from day and night via switching my headlights on or the button (forgot what it says or picture thats displayed) on the dash...
