Please help -- looking for a chassis ground behind center console.
Hey guys,
I have a VCI unit and KP tech mirror modules installed in my car and I feel like the ground is bad because when I hit "aux" while the VCI unit video is engaged, my screen cycles through for 10 seconds before stabilizing and my mirror modules are inconsistent. I was hoping to change the ground from it being tapped to the back of the stereo to an actual chassis part. Any thoughts? Would appreciate any input on where a chassis ground is behind the center console. Thanks!
Mark

Hey Mark, I know we talked about this the other day but for the members that aren't familiar, the metal frame around the LCD is actually grounded to the chassis through the mounting screws. There should also be another bolted ground behind the stereo towards the bottom of the console. Additionally, there is a bolt with 2 or 3 ground wires on it in the driver side footwell below the carpet, basically under the fuse box.
