So have anybody had this idea to install a wifi hard drive into their G where you can send music/video from your wifi PC/laptop to your wifi hard drive for play back in your G as the hard drive would be hard wired into your G just like your stock OEM hard drive. This would be dope if possible... no need to rip CD's to your hard drive ever again.

I would just buy the largest USB stick I could afford and run it in the center console if you have a 2010 and up. I used a 32gb with no problems.

If you have a 2007-2009 and have the aux in, find a cheap mp3 payer that will take SD cards and play the music through the mp3 player.

 

Any chance to get the USB to recognize FLAC? I haven't tried so maybe it's already possible but I doubt it. I would prefer FLAC to mp3 with a good system. I have some vinyl rips of some epic music that I would like to listen to in all its glory.
