Question Where is the XM module?

I'm trying to cut into the XM wiring on my 2012 G37 sedan to make an AUX input but am not sure where the module is and which wires are for the line in

I pulled off the top liner inside the trunk and can see some kind of module but it doesn't seem to be the XM, since when I disconnected the wire plug from it the XM kept playing inside the car. Pics of that module and wire plug are attached. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I dont think so.
I pulled the trunk floor out this past weekend and didnt see any type of xm or another controller.

Nothing in the spare tire area but the spare tire and the tools associated with changing the tire.

edit** I have a sedan, coupe maybe different

UNDER the trunk floor. Remove the spare. There are some nuts holding the plastic "floor" of the trunk that surrounds the spare. Remove those nuts. Pull the plastic trunk "floor" up and there is space underneath. On the left are the XM module and Bose amp.

you can buy a cord that plugs into the 3 pronged thing in the center console and you can plug an AUX cord into that. worked for me
