Subwoofer

Hello,

I have a JL10W7. However, the box is too big for it as I used to have it in an EX35.

Any ideas of which box to get for a proper fit in a G37X?

Thanks,
g3lo

Check boxology for the custom boxes for the G. Or you might be lucky to find one in the classifieds.

coupe or sedan? I'm not sure about 2012 models. But in 08, the coupe and the sedan have very different trunks.

Coupe 2012. Talked to zenclosures they don't have a box for 2012 that meets JL specs.

So zenclosures not good

Also price range is too high for boxology. Budget is more like zenclosures pricing

If you cant make one yourself find a local shop to help you

DIY price = $60 in materials and an afternoon

Shop = $200 for a basic ported box in most cases. $100 sealed.
Custom box = whatever you want to pay

I have no clue of how to do it myself, although if there is a step by step how to, I wouldn't mind trying. I need info. for JL10W7 Sub.

Lot of guides out there on how to build a box. Here is one I built for my car for a 12 inch sub. Fits snug under the rear decklid. Wood is cheap, you can learn something and have fun doing it

If you want dimensions let me know. You can adjust the depth of the box to match the Volume that your sub needs to sound good pretty easy. Also changing the hole size to your 10" sub is nothing.

Early view of the box in my trunk, I still got room!
