Cruise controls works, but it doesnt...?

My cruise control comes on, but i cant set my speed. When i hit the on/off button, "cruise" comes up on the info center, but when i hit "set" nothing happens. Any idea where to start?

Did you by any chance get your steering wheel replaced or messed with the wiring on the wheel?. I had the dealer replace my steering wheel and they put one that had intelligent cruise control ,but my car itself doesn't have that option and I had the same issue. The cruise sign would come up but I couldn't set a speed. I had them place my old wheel back on and everything worked perfect again.

Steering wheel has never been replaced or touched.
