how to activate AUX

how to activate AUX in my infiniti g37s
coz i bought apple av cable to watch video when i connect it to aux
it doesnt show anything at all even no sound

Your car must be parked with the brake set for the aux input to display anything.

Test it on a normal TV first. If it works on the normal TV, my only advice is to turn up the volume. I have to turn my G's volume up past half way to be able to clearly hear videos and movies coming from my phone.
