Still waiting and looking forward to InfiniteSmoke's zenclosure pics though!!
Yeah... I like it The rear seat release is on the driver's side though so I don't know that a contoured box would be an option. Here's a pic of the enclosure pulled out.

I have a Hertz HDP 5 amp under the plastic floor of the trunk kinda under where the sub sits. I'm getting some speakers in it next week so I'll take pics while it's dismantled

I know that Boxology offers one, but I think I think $300+ is too expensive for an enclosure. I checked with Zenclosures who has a more palatable price of ~$130, but they told me that they don't have one for my model sedan yet.

I want to install an 8" or 10" in the trunk, but want the trunk to still be usable. I would prefer not to use the spare tire well either.

Are there any other options?
We finally got a G37 Sedan in the shop for a design. Fits the 2009+. Thanks Mike@ZEnclosures

I wanted the same thing in my '08 G37S coupe. It was pretty pricey for the install shop to do it. It was a custom fiberglass box with the amp mounted under the spare tire cover on the right hand side. It looks like it came with the car and I couldn't be happier with it.

The grand total for the box and the install of the amp (I had the 10" and the amp from my '02 SE-R) was ~$800 like someone else in this thread mentioned.

I would seriously recommend you make your own fiberglass sub enclosure. Its the best way to utilize all the area in your trunk side compartments while still giving you a usable trunk. As long as youve got some simple tools (to make the speaker rings) the rest of the materials are less than $100.00

Tx,
Ive only made two boxes myself. Namely, the two that are in the car right now. Given the infitessimally little amount of spare time I have it took me almost four months to finish the first one. As much as Id love to do Audio Installations for a living, my wife, dogs and boss would kill me (in that order) Seriously, I didn't find the process that difficult. Theres tons of threads around for how-to's but Ill post pics on my adventure as soon as I get some spare time to put it together!
