This is my first post on these boards and I apologize if I am asking a question which has been answered before -- I tried to look through old posts before.

I am nearing the end of a 39-month lease on a 2009 G37 coupe with the Navigation package. I went into the dealership to check out the 2012 models and the sales guys showed me some updates for issues that have bothered me with my '09 model.

There were two main things that interested me. First, the voice recognition system now allows you to cut off the voice prompts so that you can quickly enter an address for the Nav to get directions. Second, the Bluetooth implementation now works with my iPhone4 so that it will access my iPhone phonebook and it can now access my music library via Bluetooth.

My question is can I get these updates on my 2009 G37 with firmware updates? If so, that may influence me into purchasing my current car rather than starting a new lease on a 2012 G37. Thanks for any input!

 

I don't think so, but your best bet is to call Infiniti and ask them directly if it can be updated
