i have a brand new 2012 g37 sedan with navi. this is the third time its happend to me this week. i put in an address on the navi and all of sudden i start driving the radio, xm or whatever i have playing cuts out. steps i have taken to fix the problem with no luck.

deleted iPhone 4s from car
shut of blue tooth
reinstalled it

it seems that if i shut the car off for a while it will work again for a while then it starts happening again.

Bring it to the dealer for a checkup. Something is not right with the electronics.

does it fade down and then up? you could have your voice volume really low and it is fading the speakers down to tell you to turn or your turn is approaching.. set an address then press voice and while its talk move the volume all the way up. see if thats what it is..

I have the same problem with my '09 G37. It just fades out completely for about a second then starts working again. I could be in the middle of no where with nothing above me and it still does that. I haven't noticed it saying acquiring signal when it happens either.
