does anyone have a link to a cable (just so i can get an example of what i need) that would connect the iPod and retain steering wheel controls?

oh i see. but my problem is that i don't think i have the port. i've looked everywhere can't find the port for it...where is it on your guys' cars?

 

i bought a belkin plug for mine and it worked great and i used to watch movies from my iphone through the cable to my nav but now when i do it the video coes out black and white. i tried my cable on my buddys car and it works fine. anybody else have this problem?

I got mine from ebay 2 years ago for 15 shipped after dealer quoted me 80 bucks.

 

Does it charge your iPod/iPhone?

 

For some newer models, it won't. I believe iPhones after the 3G don't charge with the OEM cable. You'll have to buy this adapter to charge them.
