Still getting used to my '08 G37s 6mt. One thing I've found is I can't go to the search menu in the music box to select other albums/artists unless the parking brake is on.

I can access #'s 1-4 in the system while I'm driving, which plays the current album, but it doesn't seem logical that I can't pick other albums while I'm driving. Once I'm stopped and the parking brake is applied #'s 5-11 become highlighted and can be selected (search other albums, artists, etc.).

Is it just me or do I have a glitch that needs to be looked at (still under warranty)? Thanks as always for the help!

I think you're okay, it's safety stuff. The subject of hacking it can not be discussed on this forum to the best of my knoweledge. iPod works for me, 160gigs for around $200. and lots of playlist options while moving.
