Has Infiniti fixed this with newer cars. My 09 has this and it bugs me. I never really dealt with it. My lease is to be turned over in a bout 6 months. Didn't they fix the ecu's on the newer cars?

 

Yeah mine has it too... asked the dealer and his reply was " never heard of that before"

 

Yea...i've been trying to search the boards but forgot what it was officially called (the problem that is). I'm pretty sure it's been fixed in post 09 models but I wasn't sure.

 

it was a problem with the ecu, there should be a couple of threads about it on here. the dealer i took it too claimed they had never heard of it, but after a bit of complaining they called corporate and replaced the ecu. Assuming that they fixed it, but who knows.

 

Once when I had a loaner, an '09 Sedan, and I recall that the Bose system had an 'Active Noise Cancellation' feature for the sound system which reduced the noise from road conditions and from outside the same way Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones work. I recall that the high-pitch hurt my ears the whole time I had the loaner. I think the removed this in later models like my 2011. I think it stops if you turn off the sound system all together.
