From a little searching it looks like the 2010 maxima radio is the same, can anyone confirm this? ModMe, I do emergency vehicle wiring for a living, if you can tell me which wires need to be modded I would greatly appreciate it, I may be the test dummy for the maxima system. I would imagine the only difference would be the startup screen would say nissan instead of infiniti.

There are too many wires for me to list. I would recommend comparing the 2008 factory service manual with the 2010 one. I would recommend that you buy navigation units with the harness pigtails. Otherwise you'll have a very difficult time finding the connectors. The 2010 uses a GVIF video system. You will not find this video plug anywhere else.

Did you buy a new A/V unit & LCD or did you find them from a salvage? Do you have a ball park price either way?

I bought my parts from a salvage yard. But when I did this, there were practically no salvage parts. So i got them at a pretty high price: 1500 for screen and a/v unit. Prices should have gone down by now.

If the plugs are the same and it's just a matter of rewiring the connections you should make an adapter kit and sell it for $300.

you can make good money, if you also make an adapter for '07-'09 sedans and post it on g35driver.com (lot's of guys would dream about hi-res Navi there!)

Dude, I am extremely jealous of your mod!!! I'm not so sure I agree with the price coming down for the unit though, I can't imagine there being that many 2010+ G37's sitting in salvage yards...although I could be wrong.

Just curious, can this unit be used while the vehicle is moving? I never researched if they changed that restriction with the new navs or not...

So is the 2010 navi so good, you don't even need the CarPC anymore? Is there anyway to feed RGB to GVIF connector?

This is awesome, I'm very interested as well. I would gladly drop some cash on a harness or even some detailed directions.

If a adapter kit was made, I would buy it in a heartbeat.

You could make good money on selling those!!

Sorry guys but I neither have the means or time to create a harness. And the install is not as simple as attaching a harness adapter. The rear camera has to be rewired and additional pins must be added to the OBD port.

It's a matter of comparing the 2008 and 2010 factory service manuals. If you can't figure it out from the wiring diagrams, then it's not a good idea to attempt it.
