Finally looking to get more bass into my Bose system by adding two Type R 10" Shallow mount subs in the trunk but I am unsure of where to tap into the headunit or tap into the rear deck for Line In.

Any ideas for tapping in for my (Rockford Fosgate PRIME R1000-1D Class D Monoblock Amplifier) Rockford R1000 Amp at 2ohms?

Also, if I want to replace my door speakers any replacements for the doors that would be a excellent upgrade? I don't mind the Bose but if I am going to add the bass, why not add the extra doors?


Please help me out in figuring out:

1. Where to run my amp power wire through the firewall?
2. Where to tap into the line in for my mono amp?
3. Replacement door speakers since they require adapters

No ideas at all? I am kinda clueless of how to get a decent system into my G37s Coupe without spending 2,000+

 

im not sure about the amp and speakers but if you want a quality closure, science of sound(40/80) makes pretty good ones that fits on the drivers side of the trunk! or you can always buy zenclosures, they run about 150 from a vendor!

Maybe try something that? Gives you some trunk space and the cheapest box your going to get that will fit perfectly in the car! Good Luck on your search!!
