Auto door lock speed sensing answer. finally

I searched and searched for a way to disable my speed sensing auto door locks on my 2011 G37.I called three dealers. I read online where people had to take the car to the dealer for it ,etc.Pay 50.00.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>
I finally got the answer from Infiniti<o></o>
<o></o>
It’s the fricking same as enabling/disabling the auto lock/unlock ,but instead of holding down the unlock button and waiting for the hazards to flash , you do the same with the lock button !<o></o>
Now when I reach 16 mph my doors don’t auto lock and if I want to push a passenger out of the car I don’t need to hit the unlock button <o></o>
I am not sure how many of you knew this could be down without taking car to dealer and hook it up to tech computer ,I sure didn’t and three NW dealers didn’t either.<o></o>
Edit...this is a 6MT. Also enabled the seat back and tilt away steering/exit

I RTFM and it is not in there. Nothing at all about disabling speed sensing locks or tilt away/exit steering for my 2011 sedan.
Tell me where it is in the manual and I will donate 100.00 to the site in your name.
And ,thanks for the greeting

Not OEM, you'd have to install a KP Technologies add on module to get it.

2011 g37s sedan 6mt is the car. Sorry not to clarify. Car is brand new. I called three different dealers about the tilt away/seat back and speed sensing locks.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>
Each service advisor or manager would go to a tech and come back with either a bring it in so we can hook it up ,or they kept telling me it couldn’t be done or they were confused and trying to tell me how to complete the auto lock feature (the one in the manual).<o></o>
<o></o>
Finally I got to speak on the phone with an Infiniti senior super duper long time know it all tech ,who gave me the low down. He also said there are ways to disable VDC all the time so it doesn’t reset to ON when starting up each time. Evidently it is a safety issue and they don’t give that out.<o></o>
<o></o>
Hope that clarifies<o></o>

the sedan has convenience features that allows you turn on/off the seat back and the tilt away wheel. This is all accessible on the touch screen and is in the manual. coupe does not do tilt away

turning off the auto lock is pretty cool; I don't have much of an issue with the auto locks. Kind of wish they linked it to the transmission...

Now that would be very helpful information! Any chance you can ask the super duper tech geek about this and post it up?

I looked for an hour in the car and in the manual and could not find where it mentioned about the tilt away feature on screen or in the manual.I saw where it spoke of a 7AT in the manual ,but not the 6MT for tilt away.Maybe some of on screen features are disabled for the 6MT.If someone knows what page of the manual or where on screen it shows on a 6MT ,i would appreciate it.

So, please make this clear for me... because that autolock thing just irritates me... in order to turn that feature OFF, I hold down the lock button (on my key fob? on the driver door? car turned on or turned off?) until the hazards flash, and then the doors won't lock after I take off?

Figured it out. Car turned on, hold down the driver's side door lock button until the hazards flash.

Thanks.
