FYI on ITOUCH vs IPOD Connection

Folks,

I just wanted to let you know that I finally figured out why the speakers were making a crackling noise when connected to the ITOUCH. I have Nav so not sure if that makes a difference or not. What I have discovered is that the noise ONLY happens when I have an Itouch connected to the system and not an IPOD. The ITOUCH I have has both the earphone jack and hardwire connection on the same end. I have noticed on my home stereo system that you can not have it connected to the laptop AND have the external plug plugged into the stereo from the earphone jack as it causes the same interference type issue.

What's an ITOUCH? I've heard of an iPod Touch....but not an ITOUCH, must be new.

Same thing. Just need to make sure the device you connect does not have the sync port next to the output ear jack to eliminate the noise in the system
