I haven't seen the 2011 software in person, but I saw a screenshot of what I believe to be the new version of the software and it looks nicer.

I have a 2010 g37x (no nav), can anyone tell me what the differences are between my version of Music Box and the 2011 version?

And is it possible at all to upgrade to the new version?

 

Just to clarify....the whole software as a whole is different than talking about just the music box portion.

you cant just upgrade the music box portion...you have to upgrade everything as a whole. to upgrade everything...from a non-nav car....you need to basically get the nav package. New screen, harddrive, GPS harness and equipment......in which case after labor and all that...can run between $2-3k

long story short....no you cant.

 

Has anyone actually taken the display computer apart? I'd like to know what chipset it uses, arm,ppc ect.. I have read that they use QNX and if we could get full photon running it would be a lot more useful.
