Laser Jammer on a 2010 Convertible

Just picked up a new convertible and was thinking pretty seriously about getting a laser jammer. As I am looking at different options, I realized that with the weird way the trunk lifts up on the convertible, it might make it impossible to run the wires necessary from the jamming head that goes on the license plate to the front control module. Anyone have any experience with this? Is it possible?

I know this seems incoherent... been a long day and was just trying to get this out before I forgot.

Thanks in advance!

you really only need the front for a laser jammer -- radar for the rear but i think you're fine

yeah, i agree with "da mayor" you really only need the front laser jammers. a friend of mine just picked up the laser jammer from Laser Interceptor USA - Laser Jammer - Exclusive Factory Authorized Distributor to The USA and Canada - Home it has alot of good reviews and was actually tested against other jammers. im waiting to get me a unit, i just got me a valentine.

Well. With the new laser tamers you can just run the fiber optics to the rear area. That is when laser tammers finally comes out. Supposed to be 1q this year

I was specifically looking at the Shifter ZR4 to use along with my V1... the rake of the windshield seems quite different than my old coupe so the stealth cord I have for the V1 makes it kinda difficult for the radar detector to see out the back since it is sorta behind the mirror (short cord )

I think I found a very reasonable price for the unit mentioned above (+ install cost) and there seems to be no price mentioned for the laser tamer when it does eventually come out...

If I do this, I would want to do it correctly and would rather not leave the back of my car vulnerable to laser when shelling out this kind of money for the kit
