Just bought 2009 G37 - iPhone connectivity question

I just bought a 2009 G37x Sport and absolutely love it. However, there was no cable inlcuded to allow me to connect my iPhone (or iPod). What cable to I need? Where do I get it? Are there any limitations with connecting the iPhone (for music)? I have been poking around but it has been difficult to find a comprenesive answer to this. Any comments, suggestions, hints etc welcome.

Thanks!

You can buy an OEM one from Infiniti for ~$30. I use the charge cord that came with my phone. Plug it in, control from your dash. You won't be able to control the ipod from your phone anymore once it is plugged in.

I have to admit I'm not wild about the control through the car. Switching around is cumbersome and slow, and overall not very intuitive. I honestly wind up using bluetooth connectivity more often so I can flip around quickly and easily, flip back and forth from my ipod to pandora, etc.

That won't work for him since it's an '09 (no USB hookup).

First of all, do you have the Premium Package (have Bose speakers, a square looking connector in the arm rest compartment, etc)? If so, then you need this.

Yes - I have that package with the large square looking connector in the arm rest. Thanks for the link.

Once I receive the cable, I want to hook up my iPhone 3g to listen to music. Are there any limitations or issues that I should be aware of? What about charging the phone? I thought I read somewhere that it won't charge. Is this true?

As far as the car is concerened, I have only had it a couple of days. My previous car was the Acura TL. I really like that car...but I LOVE this car.

Thanks,

Thanks,
I would recommend hopping on craigslist and picking up a cheap older version iPod and just leaving it in the center compartment the whole time. That's what I did, now I don't have to swap out my iPhone everytime I get in/out.
