Nav-driving to Canada

Have a 2010 G37xS. Driving from NY to Canada for a trip. Do I have to change regions in Nav?

Likely--and when you do you'll realize how crappy the Canadian maps are compared to USA. Don't expect small features like labels on any of the biggest expressways in the country. Or any of the exits from those expressways. But you will have a sea of tiny residential street names pop up beside those highways and exits just in case you car can fly over the barriers of the limited access highway and land on someone's driveway.
