Does anyone know how to make the horn beep when you lock the doors? My car has always beeped the horn when I lock the doors since I bought it, but for some reason it has recently stopped. I'm not sure what I did to make it stop or how to turn it back on, but I am constantly losing my car in mall and airport parking lots and would really like to have my horn back.


Any help is appreciated.

Hold the unlock + lock button for few seconds

Press lock once to lock it without horn. Press it again after it's been locked to beep the horn.

Not to hijack the thread, but is it poss to change the beeps around ie, one beep for lock,two for unlock??

I was actually wondering if there's anyway to make the car NOT honk when I lock the car, getting home late i'm sure the neighbors don't appreciate it

I think if you leave press it once to lock it initially, the horn won't sound. But if you press lock again, after it's been locked, it'll beep.

I just push the little black button on the door handle. No horn involved when you do it that way.
