Bluetooth Issues

What's up folks.

I'm a new G37 owner, and I'm having an issue with my Bluetooth. I'm using an iphone 3GS running OS 4.0. The problem is that whenever I'm on a call with someone, they hear nothing but static and I cut in and out, and all other types of garbage. I hear them just fine, no problems at all. My salesman told me to adjust the outgoing volume, which doesn't seem to have made any difference.

Any thoughts?

Try deleting the pairing and then pair them again.

Do you have NAVI? If you do, there is a TSB which provides a software upgrade to the NAV system to recify issues with the iPhone. I have a new iphone 4 - getting upgrade done tomorrow... My issues seem to be concentrated on some calls being dropped, and downloading of my iPhone contact lists into the car's Bluetooth.

Also, where do you keep your phone when calling over BT? I used to keep it in my left front pocket and I'd get bad reception. Now I keep it in the fake ashtray that's just in front of the shifter. Reception is better there, surprisingly.

Sounds like a reception problem.

Yes, I have NAV. I've set up an appointment for service in hopes that the update will take care of the issue. I usually keep the phone in the passenger seat, but i've put the phone in the fake ashtray and everywhere else, no luck. Thanks for the input, I'll let you know what infiniti says.
