HAHA thats fine, aint much to DIY on this install though...just pop the door panels off and install....
Im worried its going to sound like **** though...the Polk SR6500 are rated for 125 Watts RMS...im sure the stock radio is only putting out 10-15.....
What do you guys think?

It depends on how efficient those Polks are. The more, the better they'll sound with the signals and power coming off the stock radio.
Speaker power ratings only refers to the maximum power they can handle, not minimum. Although, the more power you give them, the better they'll sound.
I don't know what the stock non-premium speakers are, but if it's like anything else OEM it's probably paper. If your Polks can be driven well enough with that minimal power the stock radio provides, then it will likely sound noticeably better.

This is what I have done:
You CAN replace the speakers and they will sound good. The only problem I encountered was when I wanted to replace the 10" driver. I had to build a mounting ring to fit an 8" driver. My system is a little more involved that what you like to do but you can also get an amplifier that takes speaker inputs and have enough oomph to drive the new speakers. This way you can hook up the speaker output of the Bose amps into you speaker inputs of an aftermarket amp and take it from there. Or even better, you can take the stereo output form the factory head unit, which are line outputs, connect some RCA leads and hook up in the line in to the amp. This is the best option without having to replace the factory head unit because it bypasses the Bose amplifier. I have a tread in this forum called "stealth install" or something like that. Look for it to see what I have done.
