According to the letter I received from Infinity, the fix is free of charge on parts and labor.

I had the TSB Navi fix done 2 weeks ago. Its FREE. If you are sure you got charged (and you paid) for it, then call your dealership complain.

You should NEVER have to pay for TSB work as long as the car is under warranty...

I just had some body work don on my 2010 G37XS (dealership scratched my front bumper when they put my midnight black grill in) I forgot to ask about the TBS for the Navigation, but I will say my ipod scrols from song to song MUCH faster now

Did you guys/ gals get a letter directly from Infiniti about the TSB upgrade of the Navi ? Usually, in the past the dealers are made aware of the TSBs and apply it if the Customer complains about that issue? I just got a new iPhone 4 (company issue) and see these issue described here. Do I need the receipt of this Letter? I'll call my Dealer (Pepe Infiniti in White Plains, NY - excellent dealer btw) to get applied today, if possible.

Yes, I received a letter in the mail from Infiniti about this TSB earlier this week. You should be able to have this TSB applied without the letter in hand. I hadn't even received the letter yet and the dealership did the work when I brought my car in for an alignment issue weeks ago.

I just got my letter this morning. I wont bring the car in until I get the 2nd of my 2 free oil changes. I just got the 1st free oil change earlier this month and nothing was said about the Nav TSB.
The only problem I've had so far, with the NAV, was it did a quick reboot, once, during my 4,000 mile trip.

I got the letter today but the work was done last weekend during the 7500 mile service. You don't need to bring anything.

To whoever got the TSB done,

Did the update fix the issue of having to return all the way to the main menu just to select a different artist? This is my main pet-peeve with the iPod interface....

I scheduled my TSB Navi update directly with my Dealer- Pepe Infiniti in White Plains, NY w/o receiving the letter. I have a iPhone 4. Only issue I see that has surfaced has been the mis download of contacts from my phone to the car. My phone syncs with Outlook from my workplace PC. We will see if this upgrade takes care of this problem. I'll post results.
