NAV Major Streets/Roads Not Labelled Issue
Hi:
How many of you NAV users have this issue:
1. Upcoming exits from an expressway are not labelled on the map--including other adjoining expressways. Occasionally a highway number will appear on the exit, but in most cases these exit roads are named and the numbers are not used in signage or real life.
2. "Red" and "Brown" major streets/roads are very sporadically labelled. I would expect them to have a priority for labelling, but they are often (60-75% of the time) not labelled despite a sea of labels for smaller (usually irrelevant) side streets.
I think this is a Canada-only problem. I recall on my brief one day in Michigan that the system worked as expected, but would appreciate some feedback from both US and Canadian owners. If it is Canada only, there is no fix for it because the source maps are the problem. If the system works this way for all, it is unbelievably badly designed...

I vaguily recall another thread about this same problem, but I think we did come to the conclusion it was a Canada problem...
anyways...make sure your "range" is set correctly. sometimes if you are too zoomed in/out it won't provide the information you want and need. if that doesn't work then unfortunately I am out of ideas, mine works just fine at the 1/4 and 1/2 mile windows (I use the others when I know exactly what I am looking for)
