Amp replacement

I am considering a "simple" amplifier upgrade. I'm leaning towards a Zapco DC Ref amp. Why not go all out, right?

Should I expect to hear a big difference just by replacing the Bose amp with the Zapco DC Ref with no speaker change?

The Bose amp actually comes in 2 parts. There’s a little woofer amp on top that powers the rear deck speakers. I assume I won't need to keep that, and that the Zapco DC Ref handle all 11 speakers, correct?

Any special installation, power, ventilation or grounding requirements that I need to be aware of?

Many thanks.

EDIT - Oops. I have 10 speakers. The rear deck has 1 10" "subwoofer", not 2 6x9s as shown on some drawings I've seen.

I wouldn't touch mine because I have SOW and nav. If mine is a regular non-SOW and no nav, I would swap all the speakers get a new 4 channels amp on the first day.

I have Studio on Wheels and Navigation too.

How would replacing the Bose amp affect the Navigation?

Why would having SOW affect your decision to replace the amp?

It's a complicated system. After I change the amps & speakers, if I take my car to the dealer, they will void my warranty or don't fix any issues related to the nav/audio/radio. Lucky I didn't because the Enter button on the dashboard stopped working and the dealer is still waiting for the part from Japan.
When my warranty is expired, maybe I'll mod the audio system. I have the service manual and it's easy to do. Shouldn't take more than a weekend to get the job done. I already have 2 subs + 1 amp. For $1000, I can make it sounds like a real studio on wheels, not a no high/no bass Bose.

I've seen the stock amp when I was wiring my sub. Adding an aftermarket amp won't effect the navigation at all. Just need to re-route the audio signals from the head unit to the stock amp and from the stock amp to the stock speaker to the new multi-channel amp. Also all audio cables in the car need to be changed. They look thin and cheap.
