When switching from Map to Disc/Aux
This is my 2nd G (had the '08 g35xS, now i have the '10 g37xS) and there's a few things I'm curious about..
I always use my iPod to listen to music, in my older G (08) when you press Map to and hit Disc/Aux, it goes back to the song list.. now in the '10, when you press Map and hit Disc/Aux, it brings you back to the Now Playing, Playlists etc menu instead of the song list.. This sucks, no alternative around it either.
Also I know the steering wheel next track are reversed; up goes next track, down goes previous track, vs. the buttons on the dash which are vice versa. I heard there's a TSB on this, not sure which one they're gonna alternate; steering wheel or the dash buttons.
Third, they took the AV inputs out from inside the armrest compartment. This sucks as well, no more videos from the iPod.
Just wondering if anyone noticed this..

Or, even better, just take it to the dealership to perform the tsb. I think they will change the wheel controls and leave the others.
There's a thread about this already in the sedan forum section. Check out the second or third page, it's pretty recent.

Don't do that because the steering wheel switch control logic changes (reverses) when you're on a screen showing a list. If, for example, you're on a screen listing tracks or presets, then down becomes "next" and up becomes "previous" in order to match the progression through the list. If you switch the contacts, then you'll simply reverse the logic, and neither one will make any sense.
