radio station fm and am mix?

I had recently reset my ecu not by doing the pedal method, but by disconnecting the battery for a few minutes then reconnecting it. I have done this before but never came across this problem. My FM presets and mixed with my AM presets. usually, its all 6 FM stations on one preset, and the others on preset B or C. Now the problem is that there are 3 FM stations and 3 AM stations on the first preset. I want them to be all FM like before and I cannot figure out a way to set it back to normal.

Any suggestions? Has anyone encountered anything like this?

It probably reset all of your presets when you disconnect the battery for a time. You'll just have to reprogram them.

1. Select the preset bank you want for FM with the A-B-C button (suppose it's A).

2. Hit "AM-FM-SAT" button or "Radio AM-FM" until you get to FM. Or simply select one of the already programmed FM stations to switch to FM.

3. Tune the station you want using seek or the tuner ****.

4. Save the new station in one of the 1-6 preset buttons by holding that button down until it saves.

5. Repeat for all buttons you want until they're all FM.

6. Then select preset B and repeat the whole process for AM.

I understand exactly what you are saying but the am stations still mix in with the fm stations. I can't get the am ones to switch to fm. But I'll give it another shot.

Thank you.

You should be able to program all AM stations on one bank and all FM on another.

Just curious about what happens exactly? Suppose you want all FM on bank "A" and channel 4 is set for an AM station. So you tune to FM 101.1 using the **** or whatever, then hold down 4 until it blips. Then what? Are you saying channel 4 still ends up programmed to an AM station after that?
