Quick Navi question

I purchased my G used and it is programmed to the New England area, so I cant really use the Nav much other than just to view where I am/am going. Also, the time is stuck on the wrong time (I have my time zone and daylight savings settings correctly changed).

Do I just do the "press down the OK button for 15 seconds" method to fix this? thanks

First you need to change the region. Push DEST, highlight Change Region, and highlight US8 which includes Tennessee, assuming that’s the area you want. The nav system should then be fully functional.

Perhaps that will correct the time zone problem too, in that the GPS should automatically show the correct local time, other than changing from daylight saving to standard, which you already know how to do.

I would also suggest that you purchase a navigation system owner’s manual as there are many more settings that you may need to make with this as a resource.

Settings -> Change Region

Just click on the map of the USA when you push settings and then change what area you are in and it will be fixed.

It's on pg 4-3 of the Navi manual, here's the online version http://www.infiniti-techinfo.com/ref...-06IT-Navi.pdf

That’s because it’s not in Settings, at least not on a ’08. Change Region is in DEST like I said. But it is on page 4-3 as stated before.

yeah I was wrong, its in Destination, not Settings...either way it's in the manual and easy to answer when you read through it
