video ipod cables

video ipod cables

i have a 5th generation 30gig video ipod

i did the bypass and now video gets automatically shut off even if im in park with the ebrake on. only the audio plays... video never comes up, the error message of "video will be resumed when car is not in motion" keeps coming up consistently... even if im parked

since i cut the wires... should I re-connect them? or did i do something wrong

ooooohhhh your gonna get it .... your not suppose to talk about the ever so forbidden mod... uuuhhh ooohhh.... just playing bro ! (But seriously your not suppose to cause the >>>MODS<<< will lock or delete your thread)

But it sounds like you did something wrong here or maybe one of your wires that you cut might be grounding itself off... try going back and use electrical tape for the ends or you can use a closed butt connector... double check to make sure you cut the right wire ? BTW the mod only works well with the NON NAV and for G's that have the NAV option, there is a bypass module already made for that... not sure the name though, sure someone else can chime in here...

but if you have a NON NAV and are lost in the dark, or not sure... PM me and can help you out, cause we cant talk about it on the threads cause " its illegal to drive and have the video playing in the states"... its a very big no no... ... but not on GUAM good luck and happy modding, shoots !

Will the 2010 G37 Journey Sedan non-nav w/bose be able to play videos from the ipod? All i have in the armrest is a usb.
