Are subs like jl10w6 and/or jl10w7 out of the question with the 4080 enclosure? i am NOT going for a show winning setup and wont be maxing it out!!..i just want a good LOW bass and want to stick with getting a 4080 box..whats your opinions?

 

Well if you dont want maxing it out, a w7 is a waste of money, cause that shiet POUNDS.

A w6 is pretty good.

Im actually debating selling my zenclosure with 10" Audiobahn AW1008T and Audiobahn amp. Its set to run at 1000w RMS @ 4ohms if youre interested.

 

pix? its the one on their website that sits in the back with one offset sub? i may want to stick with the 4080 to save a little trunk room for when i may actually need it.. as far as sound goes tho, im not sure which would be better...and i already have a pretty good amp tho.. phoenix gold titanium 600.2ti...it used to push crazy 12s, 3 10s..whatever i needed..lol

I think if you put the jl w6 in the 4080 enclosure you not going to have enough air space. jl w3 will and sound good. That my 2 cents.

 

image dynamics idq would be nice, i doubt you can fit a idmax in there.
