MusicBox - Random Play Function??

Guys,

I purchased a used G37s about a week ago. It did not have an owner's manual so I have a question about the MusicBox. I've played a little bit with the MusicBox function.....the previous owner left 17 songs on it (Gangsta Rap ) I understand how to record, delete previous songs, etc.....but is there a random play function that will skip around the hard drive and play different songs?

Thanks.....

In the center stack, between the VOL **** and the analog clock, there's a button labeled SCAN RPT. Press that button when the Music Box is playing and it will cycle through various options for how the songs will repeat or shuffle. I think the one you want is TRK SHUFFLE. This is displayed on the LCD screen. I did this with my Music Box the other day so I can get a shuffle like on the iPod. It works just like that.

You can also download the owner's manuals on the Infiniti web site in PDF.

If you don’t have an Ipod connected the best SCAN RPT setting is “Playlist RDM” to play anything on the hard drive at random.

If you're still looking for a manual, you can download one from Infiniti for free or buy a hard copy off eBay cheap. I like the PDF manual, easy to search. :-)
