any v1 owners with window tint?

I am about to pull the trigger on a V1 but am wondering if window tint would effect the radar. I have looked on the internet and found mixed reviews.

I do not have ceramic tint btw. Any owners notice any difference with tinted windows? I would assume it only effects rear coverage as front windshields are not tinted.

Between my family we have a V1 in three different cars all with tint and none of them seem to be affected by it.

I have a V1 and 15% on side windows and rear window, the v1 isn't affected by it at all.

Thanks for the responses everyone. Looks like Im going to order the radar today.

This car is too fast not to have one. One ticket in this car is enough!

anyone know if it is bad to keep the radar in the car overnight when its freezing temperatures? Im in the northeast and it is getting very cold over here. Just worried that maybe the electronics may freeze overnight and when its defrosts the moisture might mess something up

I leave mine in the car pretty much year round and have never had a problem. It gets down in the 20's here in the coldest parts of winter.

tint only affects light aka laser but it wouldnt matter anyways because by the time you're hit its already too late. if doesnt seem to effect my rear coverage or coverage at all

i live in nnj and it gets COLD over here, V1 doesn't seem to have a problem with heat or cold

Don't worry about it bro...I leave mine in my locked glove box or center console, I've never had a problem either

Same here. Tint and v1 and no problems. That's the best $450 I've ever spent. It paid for itself the first week I had it.
