HELP! Trying to get steering control to work on a skyline 370GT
Hi. Am new here. Thanks for reading this tread.
Really hoping someone can help me here.
Recently i have purchased the base model (Type P) skyline 370GT here in singapore. This base model doesnt come with alot of the goodies that your G37 under the badge of infiniti. Take for example the steering controls for the audio and the paddle shift for gears.
I purchased the paddle shift for the gears and installed it. and it worked!
However i wasn't so lucky with a steering wheel that i have gotten off ebay with the audio control. I replaced the existing steering wheel that i have (without any steering control) with the one that comes with phone and audio and cruise control. However non of the buttons seems to respond. However the steering words do light up. I am only keen on getting the audio controls to work.
Anyone knows how i can fix this?
MUCH APPRECIATED.

Hey man, welcome to the boards. First off there is no need to post the same thread twice in 2 different forums. Someone will respond to one eventually. As far as your issue, i dont know alot about it, but what i've heard from other people trying to change out the steering wheel there is more to it than just swap it. I think its got alot to do with the wiring harness and the control part within the head unit and what not.
There are several guys on here that know all about this so I'm sure they will chime in pretty soon.
