No Nav - video jacks??

Does anyone know what purpose (if any) the yellow video jack serves in a G37 without nav?

I'm not sure what you mean, but if you're parked (with the handbrake engaged) and have a video source hooked up, you can watch video on the LCD screen - nav or without nav. It's part of the premium package.

Portable Nav with video jack

thanks....didn't realize I needed to have the parking brake on.

the real reason I asked was that I wondering if there are any portable nav systems out there that had output jacks I could hook up to the car and have it "transmit" to the dash screen.

kind of a moot point if the car needs to be in park with the parking brake engaged.....any way to bypass that safety feature?

In regards to a bypass, it's against forum rules to talk about doing it because it's a safety feature. I will say, however, that you can use the SEARCH button on the forum as well as look up what KP Technologies has to offer for the G (hint hint)
