Question Gracenote db on HDD

How does the gracenote db which retrieves all the songs titles, artists etc get updated?

My understanding from reading the manual is that is resides on the HDD.

That would mean that any new cds (cd manfuactured after last gracenote db load) that you would put on the musicbox would not get the updated title artist etc.

The salesman said it would update via the wireless internet. There is no wireless interet!

The reference manual says www.infiniti.com/music-update, not www.infinitiusa.com/music-update.

After reading that, it seems easier to just rip the cd to itunes and burn them to a new cd or cd-rw and then rip the new cd in the car. I had a problem with the Slaughterhouse cd not ripping. It was telling me that the disc was copy protected (and the disc also had no track info). So I did what I stated above.
