Hey guys i need a little help. im having problem with my voice command.for some reason it wont allow me to everything that says i can do on that cheat cheat list for voice command that someone posted..like for climate control i can only turn it on or off.same thing for audio..i do have the s with the nav system...thanks..

 

ya they changed it half way through 08 and gave a crapy dumbed down version.

I noticed the same thing. The only commands you can use are the as noted in the owner's manual with a few additional commands available with Alternate Command Mode on such as switching between the different audio sources or turning climate on/off.

 

so for 08 thats all we get

 

Well, you get a little more than that. I personally use only the voice commands for the nav, it's actually practical imho. Other than that, for all other functions I can just reach the center console and press the buttons or turn the dials... which I can do a lot faster than first pressing the voice command button, then say "driver temperature 19 degrees" or "tune 99.9" (or whatever those commands are). I mean, c'mon, are you really THAT lazy?

 

I never said i was lazy...***... Just if the car has those features i would like to use it thats all.......

 

Only early builds came with full voice control. You are out of luck, sorry.

 

If that's so, then you won't miss them!
