I think he had a Navi-G that someone had removed the navi from. He wanted to put navi back in a navi-G.

His car came with navi- can't get a G with the tech package without navi.

 

NotUrG got this one on the money , yes i had a navi , dude took it out before i bought it , and now I am putting one back in. thats it . I just dont know where that wire (black/silver) goes.

 

I thought you said you had this working? What exactly is not working? That will help you determine what the black wire does/goes.

 

Looks like the wire would be the antenna.

 

ok i will hook everything back up and check the radio, cd player, and let you know more specific later.

 

Since you have it hooked up, have you checked everything to see what's not working? Use process of elimination.

Anyways Ruvik somethings are probably not going to work cause I'm pretty sure the pinouts are different. Hooking it up is one thing but getting it to fully function is a different story And do what betty said

Here's the back of my Navi HU. There is only one place it could go since the connectors are all different. Hope it helps.

out of PURE curiosity -- why did the guy you bought the car from take out the navi before you bought it?

 

I picked up the car from a dealer auction , and then called the dude , cuz he had paperwork in the car, so i think i worried him a little , he told me that insurance let him take it out... so he took parts that could be sold back to who ever bought the car later. or ebay money , that stuff is hard to find cuz the car is very new. but i am almost done buying everything that i need.

 

o really? was your navi ripped out too? you can't get the tech package without the navi package from the factory....try it yourself on the Infiniti site.
