I had it randomly dial someone on my call history on my drive to work one morning. Dialed a restaurant I made a reservation at during the weekend.

- The Car: "Blue Water Grille."

- Me: "What?"

-The Car: "Blue Water Grille, can I help you?"

-Me: "What? Why? You called me."

Went on like that for about 20 secs, and I know for a fact I didn't call b/c the phone was sitting on the passenger's seat.

It's learning. Soon it'll achieve consciousness.

Has anyone else experienced either of these problems? I wonder if the system has a glitch on start up where it sends a signal out to dial a number..

no problems here after owning my car for over a year and with 16k miles.
did you try using another phone to see if it's your phone or your car problem?

Happens to me on occassion (non-nav). To fix it, i need to pull out my phone, dial any funky #, and hangup right away (and then everyone is in sync).

I haven't seen this problem, but I noticed if the phone's battery is really low it doesn't interact with the car very well.

I have a Verizon VX6800 PDA smartphone.

I've got a '09 with nav paired with a 3G iPhone and have run in to this issue a few times.

It seems to happen when a call using bluetooth was ended abruptly (either the G or the phone). If I'm using the G's bluetooth and turn the car off, the next time I enter the car the nav unit still acts like it's in call mode. The same thing happened to me when my phone died mid conversation using the G's bluetooth.

To get avoid this I swap the audio back to my phone before exiting/shutting off the car or if my phone's almost dead. As mentioned, making a legit call using bluetooth seems to remedy the issue once's its stuck though.
