2nd Gen Ipod Touch doesnt charge....

So I upgraded my 16gb first gen touch to the 2nd gen 32gb touch and an error message says that the cable connected wont charge the ipod. I had no problems with the first gen and I never had to worry about charging it since it did it automatically. Is there an update or a different cable that charges it while driving?

That POS doesn't lock into place. Mine continually comes loose. It's extremely annoying. You can get a charging adapter much cheaper at dealextreme.com. I'd recommend a different one because I don't like the Sosche Passport.

Not right off hand. The Sosche Passport is expensive though and won't stay connected easily. I personally would NOT reccommend it.

Thats interesting BB. It got rated 4 1/2 stars on Amazon and I usually trust their reviews. But I see what your saying about how it comes undone. It doesnt seem like a good solution for something thats portable.

i have it on mine, and i have no problems with it...but i have the new nano so it all fits in my compartment easily...with the touch, it might be a little harder since it's much bigger...but i have no problems with it coming loose, etc etc...i got a great deal on mine as well.. there was an opened box one that i found at futureshop/bestbuy....and the sticker price was half price...so i bought it...and when i plugged it in, there was this really annoying static noise (so obviously something wrong with the unit)....so i went in and bought another one, and returned the old one with the new invoice....so i paid half price for a new one...

Stay away from Sosche products!!!!!!!!!!!
I bought a harness for my SUV for an aftermarket Pioneer..Boy that Sosche harness sucks!! It introduces a lot of variation in volume...I will never ever buy another Sosche POS.
