I bought my car in November, 07(G37S, red color, nav). I had 3 months trial, 1 year discount $77. This is the new contract with XM. I have 500 songs in the Music box in the car, but I still like to have XM.
Ask you dealer if your car doesn't have 3 months XM trial.
What's the Music Box? Is this another feature of the car I have but don't know about?
I bought my 2 lifetime subscriptions almost 4 years ago (Sirius), so they've already paid for themselves. I wouldn't really recommend anyone else buying one right now. It's actually kind of funny that they are selling these again. Sirius had stopped offering this shortly before the merger, and XM never offered a lifetime subscription according to the XM rep when I bought my G. Now that they need large amounts of cash quickly, they seem to be pushing these again....
This doesnt make any sense for anyone leasing... the subscription is tied to the radioID, and hence, once you return the car, you just made the next owner a happy person...
