It also comes with the voice recognition system. I have yet to use this as well; it was severely gimped out no where, and we get 1/5th of the original commands that were initially available.

So that just leaves the backup cam and the nav itself. The nav is just decent, and the camera rocks. So you tell me, is it worth 2200 for the back-up camera?

I have the nav package, haha. But Its a bunch of mumbo jumbo that i cant really recommend, but i wanted a well-equipped car.
I just turned in a 2008 w/sport and prem yesterday for a 2010 w/sprt, prem, and nav and was really bummed when I found out I didn't have the 6 cd changer anymore. I liked the idea of the HD but didn't know that I couldn't transfer stuff from the USB port (the salesman said I could) and that I would be limited to a small bitrate when recording from CD. Really makes the 9GB HD kinda useless to me. I'd rather have my 6 CD changer back, I can stack a lot of MP3s on 6 CDs and have whatever bitrate I desire!

I didn't care as much about the nav & premium. But I wanted a sunroof and that required premium. And all the 6mt that were available seemed to have the Nav & premium anyway, so I went for it. But now that I have it, I'm extremely grateful I went for it. I got a loaner car without those options and hated it -- made me realize how much I enjoy those options.

And I also already had a portable Garmin. We just use that for our SUV now when we need it. It's still better having the factory system.

As far as CDs go, I haven't even used the CD player yet, although I think the Hard drive is even a better option than the 6-disc changer. For me, I have been using an iPod for a few years, and nearly all of my CDs are on that. If I were to get another CD, I'd simply put it on the iPod. So, between that and XM I really have no use for the CD player, whether it's the music box or a 6-disc changer.

Nav and Premium certainly worth if you can afford them. Got my G37x with these features, driving my older car now is no fun. The HDD works very well, there was a comment on bitrate earlier, I don't think you can perceive the difference between the original and HDD rip at car ambient noise, perhaps in a studio or at home you can....
As for the tech package, I wish I had the cornering lamps, but I do not think the adaptive cruise control was worth it. Besides, I am not sure it would not interfere with my radar detector
