works if you hit it once without clutch. hitting it twice will turn on the climate control, windows, ect

There was several times that the radio didn't turn off when the motor turned off, but didn't know how I did it.

They are talking about keeping radio on after motor was already running, your telling us how to do it befor the motor is turned on
