Free 3 year subscription to XMRadio / NavTraffic!

Hello All,

I'd just thought I'd post my success story in how I got free XM with all NEW Sirius channels free for 36 months!

Disclaimer - Requires professionalism, good sales skills and not afraid to look like an ass.

As some of you may have seen, I was looking for a way to get XMRadio for a bit cheaper than the $77/yr plan - I searched, and I found it.

First, who qualifies for the best plan XMRadio has right now, yet is related to us (Brand-wise). The answer was simple - our big brother FX56:

http://www.infinitiparkway.com/j/i/2...6Specials.html (Look at the bottom)

How do we get it on our G's? Simple. Lets call XM.

I contact XM and got a representative who seemed new to the business. Here's where my sales / persuasion skills come to play (Not too difficult). I tell him I bought my Brand New QX56 a few months ago, and the dealer told me I qualify for 3 years / 36 month XM Radio - As long as my lease. He agreed and asked me for my Radio ID (Obtained by going to channel 0 on XM Radio). I gave it to him, and he sounded puzzled. This is where I had to persuade him that I had a QX56, NOT a G37 Coupe - Done. He updated his system. Took 30 minutes total, but I now have XM Radio for 36 months from today including NavTraffic, and also included the Best of Sirius and all the new channels.

The look like an ass part is simply if you fail.

Enjoy, and if it works, more power to you, you can thank me via PM.

Dave

But being in insurance, you have to know that the VIN will identify your car exactly and trim level to a certain extent. If they catch on they could pull your offer, but are they really going to check, probably not. But GL, and hope it stays on for you.

Well it's been a while since I renewed, but I thought they could take a radio code or a VIN #. Meaning they at least have the VIN's on record somewhere.

LOL, well they gave me XM Traffic for free since we subscribe to XM Weather for the plane. They do not have vehicle information (correct me if I'm wrong).

I never activated mine after the 3 months ran out, maybe I'll give it a shot. I thought the traffic part was very cool here in the City.

I hardly listen to the radio, let alone the XM in my car.
But I did have XM when I bought the car.
Is it for certain period we get it for free?

3 months, I'm surprised they didn't tell you that when you bought it.
