I am a New G owner and new in Ipod.
I just got G37s 6MT last week. I never had a nissan or infiniti, but so far its great and better than others
honestly, I wanted have a 335 convt, but no money.....
hahahaha now, I don't regret.....

Anyway.
Does your Ipod or I phone charges battery in your car?
I just bought 2G Ipod touch and won't charge in the car; but read music.
My friend iphone and ipod classic charges in the car but not mine.
I called apple store, they said, its my car problem.......hello?????
so, I tried my GF 08 Mercedes, it wont charge the battery.
I called apple store again, now they are saying its new 2g ipod ,
so your car don't recognize ipod system. so I told him, I bought this thing for my car Not I bought car for ipod....
how is it hard to charge battery in the car? even 1g works.. If its my car problems I think you nor apple tecs are stupid; and your product sucks.


I am not tec person, I don't have fancy things. when everyone was buying ipod long ago, I wouldn't care. I don't have plasma, I don't have xbox don't have playstation........I am so behind.
and I just got new car, and My GF thought I am too behind so she bought me ipod touch.....
Is anyone have 2g Ipod touch, and does it work in your car?

^^Are you talking about the "3G" IPhone? There is no "2G" IPhone exactly. There is the first gen IPod and now then new 3G. If you have the 3G, it does not charge in the car with the IPod cable. Sorry but IPod changed things which screwed the 3G IPod in the car. You will need to buy a Car charger for your IPod to get it to charge.

Edit: Just read your post a little closer. You are talking about the new Touch IPod from what I read. Sorry about the misunderstanding. I don't know of anyone on here that has one but I bet it has the same setup as the 3G IPhone so it will not charge in the car. Stupid Apple!

Yeah, apple messed with the new Iphones and the new 2g Ipod touches. I have a 2g ipod touch and it doesn't work as well. I think it is because they made it so that you can only charge etc through a usb cable. Apple has been cutting costs since the first ipod, so i guess it apple is screwing us over to make more money. I had a ipod photo before which could charge through firewire, usb, and had video output through the headphone jack. Now, my touch can only listen to music and charge through the damn usb.
